Takuya Sasaki

Takuya Sasaki (佐々木拓也 Sasaki Takuya) is a Captain of G-Force that appears in 1993 Godzilla film, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II
Takuya was a Captain in G-Force in 1992, and was the main pilot of Mechagodzilla. On Mechagodzilla's first mission, Godzilla is somehow able to redirect the electrical discharge from one of Mechagodzilla's attacks, disabling the robot. Takuya again pilots Mechagodzilla to fight Rodan, whom he is able to defeat, but not without sustaining substantial damage. He is then forced to fight Godzilla again, without repairing the damage caused to Mechagodzilla by Rodan, and the robot overheats in the fight, leaving Takuya and the crew trapped inside. Takuya then calls Kazuma Aoki, who is piloting the Garuda, to distract Godzilla while he gets Mechagodzilla back on its feet. He and Aoki then work together to link the Garuda to Mechagodzilla to form Super Mechagodzilla. He then bombards Godzilla with blasts from all of the mech's available weapons. He is finally able to defeat Godzilla by discharging electricity into Godzilla's secondary brain. He then finishes off Rodan, who transfers its energy to Godzilla, who is revived and begins to melt Mechagodzilla's armor plating. Godzilla then delivered a blast to Mechagodzilla that destroyed the robot. Takuya and the crew were unharmed, and they make it safely back to G-Force headquarters while Godzilla and Baby Godzilla go into the ocean.
