Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The Summary line didn't give me enough room to explain why I deleted the "anachronism" trivia item again, so I'll say it here: Military equipment tends to remain in service for a long time; for the same vehicles to appear in films set twenty-seven years apart is hardly an anachronism, especially since they are all fictional and Destroy All Monsters makes no reference to their history. Some examples from Shin Godzilla: AH-64 Apache (30 years), Type 73 Armored Personnel Carrier (43 years), M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (33 years), AH-1 Cobra (49 years), UH-1H Iroquois (59 years), Boeing CH-47 Chinook (54 years), Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier (41 years).--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 15:40, 24 January 2017 (UTC) |
