Question in regards to Toho/Hammer Nessie and Titanus Leviathan

Should they be merged or at least mention Titanus Leviathan/Toho Nessie? like how Quetzalcoatl and Orochi's page mentions their Monsterverse counterparts?

I also feel the Toho/Hammer version of the creature and the unmade film itself should be mentioned here as well for similar reasons above

While i am aware Leviathan is never called Nessie i assumed fact that it resided in Loch Ness i thought kinda tipped off the implication that they was the same creature ~~~~ (im not sure if i signed this right sorry)

You just need to write the four tildes (~). I only wrapped it in code to illustrate it.

I think it's a leap to say Leviathan is the Loch Ness Monster. The implication in the MonsterVerse is that the monsters are the same beasts as their namesakes, so Titanus Leviathan is the Leviathan from the Bible. I think the fact that Outpost 49 is in Loch Ness is just for fun as a reference, we can't really conclude that Leviathan is the Loch Ness Monster in this universe, or if the Loch Ness Monster even exists in this continuity. If he was outright called Nessie in the way that Na Kika is called Kraken, I would be more inclined to give it a mention. Les (main | talk) 03:02, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

While I am aware the Monsters in the Monsterverse are named after mythological namesakes I assumed single monsters could be the identity of multiple other mythological creatures simultaneously.

Such as Behemoth for example Which was being called Mapinguary as well in the novel implying that Behemoth was the identity of both the biblical Behemoth and the South American Mapinguary at the same time. Zillaman98 (talk) 03:12, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

Thats fair its probably best to wait til Leviathan actually appears in some form outside of a name on a monitor.

I have to ask does this apply to quetz as well?
