Kaiju tab removal

why should the kaiju tag be removed? I think its perfectly reasonable to have real prehistoric creatures under the kaiju tag due to the context of the movies they appear in--Zillaman98 (talk) 16:24, 26 October 2021 (UTC)

While you may be right, I would argue that these are animals, not kaiju. They portray an animal that existed rather than Godzillasaurus or Titanosaurus.--VaderRaptor (talk) 16:26, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
While they may be real animals i feel due to how they are potrayed in these types of films its fair to have them under the kaiju/monster tag due to managing to exist outside of their time period of when they died off and because how they are portrayed in the respective pieces of selected media on the site.--Zillaman98 (talk)
"Context of the movies they appear in" is the caveat I had forgotten about when I removed T-rex from that category. The Brontosaurus in the original King Kong doesn't behave anything like the real animal would have, for instance.--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 16:39, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
Is Brontosaurus still considered real anymore anyways? The bronto in KK 33 acted like a predator didn't it, another example I got is the Elasmosaurus in the same movie acted like a snake and could constrict and crawl on land when we know the real animal couldnt.--Zillaman98 (talk) 16:41, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
