"The Giant Demon God" (巨大なる魔神 Kyodainaru Majin) is the main theme of the 1962 Toho film King Kong vs. Godzilla. It is a song the natives of Faro Island sing to appease their god King Kong, and is performed with lyrics three times in the film. An instrumental version of the theme is used to underscore Kong in many scenes. Composer Akira Ifukube used this song again as the prayer of the Sergio Islanders in Space Amoeba, though the lyrics were changed.
