The Toho SFX Movies Authentic Visual Books (東宝特撮 公式ヴィジュアル・ブック are a series of pictorial books published by Dai Nippon Printing Tōhō Tokusatsu Kōshiki Vijuaru Bukku)[1] and distributed by the Godzilla Store which cover the conceptualization and production aspects of kaiju from Toho's library of films, with each volume focusing on a different character. The volumes are released in waves, two at a time.

Volumes 1 and 2 were released to the Godzilla Store on November 10, 2017,[2] volumes 3 and 4 on December 5, 2017,[3] volumes 5 and 6 on January 14, 2018,[4] volumes 7 and 8 on February 15, 2018,[5] and volumes 9 and 10 on March 24, 2018, each published by Dai Nippon Printing. Read from left to right, each volume is 36 pages long and printed on A4 size paper.[1] The books were planned and organized by Osamu Kishikawa and designed by Makena Graphics.[1]

Vol. 1: Godzilla 1954
Volume 1 was released on November 10, 2017[2] and covers the Godzilla design from the original Godzilla film.
Vol. 2: Godzilla 2016
Volume 2 was released on November 10, 2017[2] and covers the Godzilla design from Shin Godzilla.
Vol. 3: Godzilla 1962
Volume 3 was released on December 5, 2017[3] and covers the Godzilla design from King Kong vs. Godzilla.
Vol. 4: Biollante
Volume 4 was released on December 5, 2017[3] and covers Biollante from Godzilla vs. Biollante.
Vol. 5: Godzilla 1984
Volume 5 was released on January 14, 2018[4] and covers the Godzilla design from The Return of Godzilla.
Vol. 6: Jet Jaguar
Volume 6 was released on January 14, 2018[4] and covers Jet Jaguar from Godzilla vs. Megalon.
Vol. 7: Mechagodzilla 1974
Volume 7 was released on February 15, 2018[5] and covers the Mechagodzilla design from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.
Vol. 8: Gigan 1972
Volume 8 was released on February 15, 2018[5] and covers the Gigan design from Godzilla vs. Gigan.
Vol. 9: Rodan 1956
Volume 9 was released on March 24, 2018 and covers the Rodan design from the character's debut film.
Vol. 10: Mechagodzilla 2002
Volume 10 was released on March 24, 2018 and covers the Kiryu design from Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.
Vol. 11: Godzilla 2001
Volume 11 was released on April 13, 2018 and covers the Godzilla design from Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.
Vol. 12: Varan 1958
Volume 12 was released on April 13, 2018 and covers the Varan design from the character's debut film.
Vol. 13: Godzilla 1995
Volume 11 was released on May 18, 2018 and covers the Godzilla design from Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
Vol. 14: Hedorah 1971
Volume 14 was released on May 18, 2018 and covers the Hedorah design from Godzilla vs. Hedorah.
Vol. 15: Godzilla 2004
Volume 15 was released on June 15, 2018 and covers the Godzilla design from Godzilla: Final Wars.
Vol. 16: Ebirah 1966
Volume 16 was released on June 15, 2018 and covers the Ebirah design from Ebirah, Horror of the Deep. It also touches on Ebirah's design from Godzilla: Final Wars.
Vol. 17: SpaceGodzilla 1994
Volume 17 was released on July 13, 2018 and covers SpaceGodzilla from Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.
Vol. 18: Anguirus 1955
Volume 18 was released on July 13, 2018 and covers the Anguirus design from Godzilla Raids Again.
Vol. 19: Godzilla 1955
Volume 19 was released on September 14, 2018 and covers the Godzilla design from Godzilla Raids Again.
Vol. 20: King Ghidorah 1964
Volume 20 was released on September 14, 2018 and covers the King Ghidorah design from Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster.
Vol. 21: Godzilla 1999
Volume 21 was released on October 25, 2018 and covers the Godzilla design from Godzilla 2000: Millennium.
Vol. 22: Mothra 1961
Volume 22 was released on October 25, 2018 and covers the Mothra design from the character's debut film.
EX
On July 21, 2018, the Godzilla Store announced the "EX" line of Toho SFX Movies Authentic Visual Books, which instead of focusing on monsters focus on actors and superweapons. The books were sold at Wonder Festival 2018 before eventually becoming available from the Godzilla Store starting on July 27.
Vol. 1: "Super X" Series
Volume 1 was released on July 27, 2018, and covers all three vehicles in the Super X line: the Super X from The Return of Godzilla, the Super X2 from Godzilla vs. Biollante, and the Super X3 from Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
Vol. 2: Hideyo Amamoto 1967
Volume 2 was released on July 27, 2018, and covers two roles played by supporting actor Hideyo Amamoto in 1967 in the films King Kong Escapes and Ace of Assassins.
Vol. 3: Eiji Tsuburaya 1954-1969
Volume 3 was released on December 6, 2018, and covers the films of special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya from Godzilla through Latitude Zero.
Mini
The Mini Toho SFX Movies Authentic Visual Book, which is smaller than the normal volumes, was announced on July 22, 2018. It was sold at Wonder Festival 2018 before becoming available from the Godzilla Store. It covers Kure Kure Takora from the television series of the same name.
