Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (東京都庁舎, Tōkyō-to Chōsha) is a complex of three skyscrapers located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, with Building No. 1 being the tallest. Opened in 1991, the building houses the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which governs over the entire Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Alongside the National Diet Building and Tokyo Tower, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building has become a prominent landmark in the years since its construction. In the Godzilla franchise, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building first appeared in the 1991 film Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. |
