First of all, let me say congratulations to the Wikizilla YouTube Channel for reaching 100k subscribers, and good job to Titano, Les, TKotM, ABB, and TBWCG for making a good (and unexpected) Kaiju Profile, the effort you put into it, and the effort you put into that segment about the making of such works of art. (And regarding the whole “we’re not professional voice actors” thing, nobody said you had to be professional VAs. You do a great job at the narrations that it’s like I’m watching The Basics on Transformers by Chris McFeely, and I mean that)
Now onto the topic at hand. May I kindly ask all Users (old and new), can you please STOP asking/suggesting/requesting for Kaiju Profiles? Not only is it annoying, but it’s unnecessary, considering that the channel had a voting poll on what to cover. Keep in mind that I’m not yelling at/berating anyone, I’m just asking if people can lay off on the requesting. And I’m doing for the following:
1. What you want will be covered in the future. While it will take time, the Admins and their collaborators will eventually cover what you want (be it your favorite Godzilla/Gamera/Kong kaiju, human character, timeline, etc. They will cover it, you just need to wait).
2. The Administrators have their lives, and other duties to attend to. Aside from their personal lives, the Admins can be as busy as all of us. Not to mention that they run websites (possibly have jobs) and, if you’ve been paying attention to the “Making of a Kaiju Profile” segment in their recent video (if you haven’t, then go watch it), you can ALSO see why these videos take time to make. And if they rush, then making these videos will feel like a chore, and to us (the audience) watching these will feel like a chore. Do you really want that? (And also, try to attend to your life duties, like school, bills, etc., and try running websites, while making content for a video platform, and see how the Admins feel when they have duties like that)
And 3. Just leave the Admins if you’re going to bring up Kaiju Profiles. I don’t mean: don’t talk about how good they are. I mean: DON’T ask for a certain topic to be covered (just let them be, and read the Wikizilla articles on the topics you want covered. That’s why Wiki articles exist).
