I heard of them before I knew what Wikizilla is
- Presumably due to their appearing above us in search results. We've been working for years to try to get ahead, but because we are independent, the massive network that is Wikia/FANDOM will always end up appearing first.
the only reason they are a thing is to basically replace you
- What would they be "replacing" exactly? They were us, and we split from Wikia to become independent. Wikizilla.org is godzilla.wikia.com's successor, if anything we were their replacement. Gojipedia is the result of Wikia personally ushering in new management to hold on to the shred of what was left of our site. It's a cesspool of misinformation and incompetence and not worth using.
