Not true, while some Stands can be seen (e.g. Strength and Yellow Temperance), it doesn’t mean they can be hurt by regular humans or non-supernatural beings. You can strike blindly at a Stand as much as you want, but you still won’t hurt it.
For example: If I wanted to fight Jotaro, Star Platinum would beat me up like there’s no tomorrow. Even if I knew where Star Platinum was coming from (not seeing him, but just know where he is), hitting him wouldn’t do anything to him. It’d be like hitting an invisible wall that can pound me at any second.
