Jun Fukada's Godzilla Goal

I did something like five Godzilla films. The monsters became the stars, and the human characters were put into the background. The human story was cut down. The original one is director Honda's. The original is the only one that's successful, that's really good. I give all of my Godzilla films a minus score.

Is he trying to say that his Godzilla movies played the opposite, that the humans are the stars and the monsters are background?

My understanding is that he's just saying Gojira was a good movie and his were bad.

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)

What!, that's not good. That'll be insulting to the franchise, it would be better if Ishiro Honda returned to direct all of the Godzilla movies.

Fukuda believed that Godzilla (1954) should have stood alone and never spawned any sequels.

The H-Man (talkcontribs)

Stuart Galbraith IV and Steve Ryfle both kinda convinced him that his Godzilla movies weren't as bad as he claimed.

What does he think of the monster stuff in Honda's stuff in the movies that he claims that his movies play the opposite!
