1. After the events of Godzilla vs. Kong, Monarch funds an expedition to Infant Island before awakening Battra ( who is a corrupted anti-hero ) and it is up to Mothra to restore peace. Dr. Ilene Chen ( Zhang Ziyi's character in KOTM ) would at the very least be the main human character. 2. Alternatively, it would be a prequel set in ancient Asia that would emphasize how Mothra has a connection to us and our culture.
