Yes, the MonsterVerse Mechagodzilla is Mechagodzilla. Doesn't really matter what his OS is... we don't call Kiryu Godzilla.
Wonder if the idea came from the Shogakukan Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II manga, or if it's just a coincidence.
