Hey fellow Admin! Do you mind if I use a little bit of info for the Godzilla/1954 page on the Tokusatsupedia, NO PLAGIARISM?

If you're going to change a couple of works and call it original work - yes, I would very much mind.

I'll be blunt: I view the Tokusatsu Wiki as a doomed vanity project, which is to say a typical splinter wiki. You cannot feasible cover a topic this broad from scratch with a handful of people. The logo is stolen, and the founder of the site seems fine with stealing our work too. Nobody seems able to explain what the Tokusatsu Wiki does that wikis already in existence (if not us, than Tokupedia) do not or could not.

Oh...I just realized this now...crap I'm sorry I really wanted to just help out the wiki and become a real Admin.

I still get the impression that you're more interested in power and a cool title than the slow, careful work of editing.

You asked to be an admin almost as soon as you joined the site, jumped to a site that was immediately willing to grant that request, and opened this topic by touting that title. So I very much think you do.

There are a lot of mistakes on your Godzilla/1954 page:

• "Godzillasaurus" wasn't a thing until Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah; that origin only applies to a few versions of the character. The first Godzilla's species is not specified in the movie, nor is the reason he attacks Japan. Don't present your own speculation as fact.
• Ishiro Honda was not the sole creator of Godzilla. Yes, he coauthored the script and directed the movie, but he didn't come up with the original idea (that was Tomoyuki Tanaka), write the first version of the story (that was Shigeru Kayama), or design the creature (that was Akira Watanabe and Teizo Toshimitsu).
• The first Godzilla didn't fight Anguirus. That was the Godzilla who appears in the rest of the Showa movies.
• Movie titles should be italicized and (mostly) capitalized. Toho's preferred title for the first Godzilla movie is just plain Godzilla; I don't think I've seen Gojira used outside of the Classic Media DVD and Blu-ray.
• The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are not the only historical events Godzilla references; the firebombing of Tokyo and the Lucky Dragon No. 5 incident are others.

I don't mean to be harsh, but if editing wikis is something that interests you, research is essential. The bonus features on the Criterion Godzilla Blu-ray you own are very informative.

Its ok, its just your job. I am new, but the page is not done yet so I will take your advice and redo it.
