Sorry to bother you, ABB. But I have figured out what the Ultima parasites are and from chatting with other users, we have discovered that there Showa inspired Meganulon. And maybe also a reference to Shockirus as it was also said to be a parasite feeding on Godzilla in the 1984/85 film.
