Hello, I'm GoldenGoat2000

I'm a moderator on Gojipedia, and I've been gone for a little while and missed whatever just happened on Gojipedia. And I just wanna talk to you without any of my piers interrupting. I've read through the entire post on Gojipedia about the plagiarisms and i am still rather confused, can you tell me what happened? I just want to resolve any tension before all hell breaks loose.

A few Gojipedia mods have been raging about old posts I made for several months now, to the point of convincing themselves that I was secretly responsible for the same plagiarism from Wikizilla I had frequently removed from Gojipedia. I noticed a plagiarized page last night (Francisca), reverted it, and they hit the roof. They also hid the edits (both the initial plagiarism and my own) and deleted the page entirely, for some reason, so I understand your confusion!

That was primarily Scribelord. He's a good enough admin, but he gets into a lot of drama.

I'm sorry on behalf of the rest of the moderation team. There's still a bit of bias towards our own site over there, but Scribe is the only one who actively looked for a fight. And if you ever need any help with plagiarisms, talk to me. I'll be happy to help

I'd definitely appreciate it if someone was keeping a closer eye on things. The way we root out plagiarism on Wikizilla is this: when a new user or someone who's been caught plagiarizing before makes a large edit, you Google the first sentence or two in quotation marks to see if anything pops up. If it does, you've got yourself a plagiarist. This also applies to edits that seem suspiciously well-written compared to what the user has done in the past.

I'll get in touch with Linden (the admin that does the most with pages). We'll look at things.

Me again,

Is there any article relating to the King Kong T rex saying anything like this:

  • In the 2005 version of King Kong, instead of a Tyrannosaurus rex, three similar dinosaurs called Vastatosaurus rex, or "V. rex," appear. According to Peter Jackson, V. rex is the result of Tyrannosaurus rex living isolated on Skull Island and evolving over millions of years.
GoldenGoat2000 (talkcontribs)

The edit came from an old account from the pre-fork days, and just edited some King Kong related stuff recently. I think it smells of fish

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Yes, that's mentioned on page 62 of The World of Kong: A Natural History of Skull Island. However, Peter Jackson didn't write that book.

GoldenGoat2000 (talkcontribs)

Ok thaks. It was a recent edit from a seemingly inactive account, and when I copy pasted Wikizilla's article came up first.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Oh, I misunderstood the question. I think you checked the wrong paragraph; that one was already on Gojipedia's page prior to today's edits.

GoldenGoat2000 (talkcontribs)

ah, alrighty
