Where do you find legitimate sources to add to these articles?

Hi, ABB

First of all I just wanted to say for not being on here often, thank you for helping me out with getting the right information and source material to post into these film articles. There's one thing I'd like to know though, where do you go to get legitimate information regrading these films? When you're coping and pasting links into them. I can hardly find accurate sources that refer to what needs to be pointed out. I'd just like to know for the future. Because let's just say the sites I come across aren't known for containing anything of value or add anything relevant to what I or even someone else is trying to point out. i.e. Megalon's uncut international version (Which you helped me with before) or Terror's history in the UK. (Which I had Space Hunter M to thank for that one)

I don't really understand the question - the sources I use for this sort of thing are usually what you can already find cited in the articles.

What I'm meaning to say is it's hard for me to find unbiased information regarding these movies. Like, if I'm trying to something in detail that's been stated somewhere before, that I can use here to help prove a point. It's very difficult and usually I just keep running into people's reviews or message broad debates on which movie is better. Rather, than finding something that just states information on facts that can be helpful to the site in any way,

By the way if you don't mind me asking, a bonus question, around a week to two weeks ago, I was editing the Terror of Mechagodzilla .wiki page and when I tried to give a link to Godzilla vs. Gigan the words were in red instead of blue and wouldn't let me link to them, Well, then I tried Son of Godzilla and it came up as a number instead of the title, so I just typed both to those as well as Godzilla vs. Megalon's title out because the links weren't working. I wish I would've asked you what went wrong then but do you know why it did that? and also somehow Space Hunter M was able to go in and fix it to where it would all show up normally thankfully. Anyways that's the first time that ever happened to me. Was that some kind of bug? and if it was, is it fixed now?

That's not a question I can easily answer; it's going to vary depending on what you're looking for. Blu-ray.com offers extremely detailed rundowns of home video releases, for instance, but I wouldn't expect to find production information there. Again, I'd refer you to the sources this site is already citing. Or is there some specific information you're trying to find?

The issue you're describing with editing the Terror of Mechagodzilla page is not something anyone else has reported, and without being able to see your screen, I don't have any insights there.

Okay thanks, I didn't find anything to edit at the moment, I just needed to know where you got your links since I couldn't find what I've been looking for in the past and needed some help for the future when I do edit. By the way, would you mind telling me what are the sites he sites you're saying that the site is citing? Because there's so many of them and I looked and couldn't fid a a page on them listed anywhere.

I also don't know exactly how to show you my screen for you to look at it. I just hope I can access the site links again without any trouble.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

There's no page listing all of them; that would be nigh-unreadable. I really need more specifics from you on what you're trying to research to be helpful.

If that glitch happens again, you could try uploading some screenshots.

Okay, just wanted to say thanks for your help.

The following are examples of what I am looking for reliable refence for.

When certain cuts of these films were broadcasted to Television on what station, history of their releases in other countries, what was added or removed, what home video releases included and left out curtain content same with theatrical and televised broadcasts.

For example how to explain how the International version of Invasion of the Astro Monsters slightly differs from it's Japanese counterpart unlike later International versions, but still longer than the US Monster Zero edit.

Tamura put together a guide on the subject a few years ago on Toho Kingdom. I also found an old Tumblr post by Space Hunter M on the Godzilla series in German that lists a couple of resources: Schnittberichte.com (for version differences) and OFDb (for home video releases). More version differences can be found at Movie-Censorship.com. You can find some old Toho in America articles from Kaiju-Fan on The History Vortex, although the site is difficult to navigate.
