Toy Card, stylized TOY CARD (トイカード,   Toi Kādo), was a line of Japanese collectible gift cards manufactured by IMS Co., Ltd. (株式会社アイエムエス,   Kabushikigaisha Aiemuesu). Two series based on the Godzilla franchise were produced from the late 80s to early 90s: Godzilla Wars (ゴジラウォーズ,   Gojira Uōzu), released in three sets from 1989 to 1990, and Godzilla War Chronicle (ゴジラ戦記,   Gojira Senki) in 1992.

Two Godzilla Wars sets were released in 1989; the first, simply titled Godzilla Wars, consisted of 84 monster cards while the second, Godzilla Wars 2 (ゴジラウォーズ2,   Gojira Uōzu Tsū) was composed of 44. An official collector's binder for the two, the Godzilla Wars Card Collection Album, were released the same year and included a bonus holographic card and rules for a trading card game which could be played with the cards. The following year, a third set called Godzilla Wars 3: Fierce Fighting Edition (ゴジラウォーズ3 激闘編,   Gojira Uōzu Surī Gekitōhen) was released, rounding out the series with an additional 44 cards.

All three sets were released under the Toy Card 100 bill, with each card having a bar code redeemable for 100 yen, or roughly one dollar. Each card was printed with an encrypted message which could be decoded using one of four special cypher cards. These were labeled A-type, B-type, C-type and D-type, corresponding to a letter associated with each card.

Godzilla War Chronicle (1992)

A second Godzilla series, Godzilla War Chronicle, was released in 1992 in celebration of Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. This set consisted only of 54 cards and featured less unique monsters, but is notable for its more detailed art style. Like the previous set, each card was redeemable for a sum of yen, though this time the selection was interspersed with Toy Card 500 cards, worth 500 yen. Two "Special Version Sets" of Toy Card 500 cards were also available, consisting of 6 or 10 cards for a value of 3,000 or 5,000 yen, respectively.
