I'm a huge Godzilla and Gamera fan. I also love Star Wars (except for the sequel trilogy; that's garbage), the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Paleontology (the Walking with... Series too).

My favorite era of Kaiju eiga as a whole is the Heisei era. I especially love Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Godzilla vs. Biollante, as well as the Heisei Gamera Trilogy. I think the other three Heisei Godzilla movies are pretty great too but not as much as the aforementioned four. I do also love some entries from the Showa Godzilla series, like Gojira (of course), Mothra vs. Godzilla, Invasion of Astro-Monster, Terror of Mechagodzilla, King Kong vs. Godzilla, etc. The rest is very varying in quality that I can't really describe them all at a time. I don't really care for the Showa Gamera series at all. I find the first three to be decent but the rest to be bad; I either only like the fights or don't like anything. The Millennium Godzilla series I really like, with some of my all-time favorites being Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack, Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S., and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. The other three while not favorites are pretty good as well. I also love Pacific Rim to death, great film, but the sequel is garbage.

Some of my other all-time favorite films are (in no particular order):

• Avengers Quadriology (Infinity War and Endgame are equally fantastic, while a tiny bit lower are the first two which I see as equal too, but fantastic nonetheless)
• Captain America Trilogy (Though I'd say each one was slightly better then the previous one, but I think all three are fantastic)
• Guardians of the Galaxy Duology (though I like Vol. 2 slightly more)
• Thor: Ragnarok
• Iron Man
• Doctor Strange
• MCU Spider-Man Movies
• Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy (2 > 1 > 3)
• Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back
• Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
• Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
• Star Wars: A New Hope
• The Shawshank Redemption
