Godzilla: The Series

Deep in Brazil's Amazon Rain forest, a group of loggers are attacked by a colony of Giant Mutant Termites. The United Nations soon calls H.E.A.T. to the Amazon to find the reason behind the disappearance of large sections of the rain forest. Later, they are attacked by the giant termites and forced to flee back to the camp. After settling on using sound waves to defeat the termites, the mutants raze the camp causing H.E.A.T. to flee once again and to call Godzilla. He arrives and attacks the termites, but is soon overtaken by the termite swarm. After the attack, Mendel Craven develops a sound-wave emitter that causes the termites to turn on each other. H.E.A.T sets up transmitters and enters the termites mound while the creatures fight each other. The team becomes trapped in the tunnels, but Godzilla frees them. The termite's nest is then blown-up by explosives H.E.A.T. planted while they were inside, ending the menace on the Amazon.

Godzilla, King of the Monsters

The titan Behemoth lived in what would become Brazil as early as 12,000 years ago as indicated by cave paintings Monarch.
In the years leading up to Ghidorah's emergence, strange cloud formations seen over Brazil are deemed possible titan activity by Monarch. Later on, Monster Zero disappears into typhoon of his creation over Brazil, before heading to Isla de Mara after Rodan's emergence. Awakened by Ghidorah's call, Behemoth re-emerged in Brazil and attacked Rio de Janerio before being pacified by the Orca and later leaving for Boston. Sometime later, it was reported Behemoth's trail of destruction had begun to restore clear-cut portions of the Amazon rain forest.

Although it was not shown, Rio de Janerio was one of the cities attacked by one of the five new kaiju.

Godzilla: Project Mechagodzilla

A subspecies of Kumonga was reported to live in and around Brazil. In addition, Rio de Janerio was one of the last capitals of the United Earth until it was leveled by Godzilla during the Oratio and Aratrum's launch.

Godzilla: Ongoing

During an outbreak of kaiju attacks throughout the world, Rodan attacks Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Brazil. Later on, the Monster Kill Crew arrives in Brazil in order to kill him, but the kaiju manages to evade them.

Godzilla: Rulers of Earth

After strange eggs are found in a mine,Lucy, Kristina Sumres, and Jason Ford sent to Sao Paolo, Brazil, in order to investigate. Lucy enters a trance until the two pull her out of it, with Lucy stating that she was "out of it" the whole flight there and that she had slept the entire way there. The three head to investigate the eggs which had since been brought into the city from the mine from where they were found. Godzilla and Ebirah burst out of the harbor, bringing their fight on to dry land as Meganulon begin to hatch from the eggs. The Meganulon begin to swarm the surrounding buildings and attack the surrounding people. They swarm on to Ebirah, who retaliates by slicing through several of them with his claw. With Godzilla and Ebirah still engaged in combat, Megaguirus enters the battle. Throwing his opponent aside, Godzilla fires his atomic breath at Megaguirus, who easily dodges the attack. Godzilla and Megaguirus take their fight further inland while Ebirah flees back in to the ocean. Flying between the skyscrapers, Megaguirus absorbs a blast of Godzilla's atomic breath and fires it back as a massive atomic fireball that knocks Godzilla unconscious. She then grabs Godzilla and carries him southeast back to her nest.
