Ramayana (ラーマーヤナ is a Rāmāyana)1942[1][2] Japanese tokusatsu short film produced by Toho, and based on the Hindu legend of the same name.[3] Extremely little is known of the short, due in part to its lack of opening or ending credits; however, it was directed by Eiji Tsuburaya and written by Kohan Kawauchi, who would later create Japan's first television superhero series Moonlight Mask, among numerous other works. The film surfaced online after being broadcast on the Japanese specialty channel NECO on August 21, 2003.
Plot
While dancing with animals, Ravana abducts Sita from Rama, Ravana returns to the Kingdom of Lanka the kidnapping of his wife leaves Rama and a group of animals to invade Lankapura, Ravana hides as Lankapura burns.
