A Fantastic Tale of Island Adventure: The Undersea Warship (海島冐險奇譚 海底軍艦,   Kaitō Bōken Kitan Kaitei Gunkan, lit. Sea-Island Adventure Tale: The Undersea Warship) is a Japanese science fiction novel written by Shunro Oshikawa and originally published in 1900. It is the first entry in Oshikawa's Undersea Warship series, and was followed by five sequels. It was adapted as the film Atragon by Toho in 1963, and later as the two-part OVA Super Atragon, also from Toho. The sixth book in the series also received a film adaptation from Nikkatsu in 1927. The text was translated into English for the first time in 2019 (?) by independent translator Shelley Marshall, and her publishing company JPop books.
