Why exactly do you need the rights for? I visited the site after these 8? or more months, and I don't see any new information: no plot, no production sections. Sorry, that's not what I wanted. I don't see that much efforts for getting rights, even though I really appreciate that you decided to keep this site.

Is it really necessary to move the site again when we already moved it from Fandom? Allosaurus would have shut the site down in the first week if I hadn't edited the site to begin with, and I was the one who restored the site after it had been shut down due to no updates for 50 days. The site would benefit from having me as admin and not migrating EVER AGIAN.

Sorry for not answering, it was night in my timezone. First of all, if I was doing everything some random person on Internet said me to do, then.. I don't know what would happen. Let me explain my answer clearly again: 1) You didn't even say which exactly protected pages you want edit or what you want to delete. 2) I have seen Kaiju №14 in action as an admin already. 3) You can edit films' and monsters' pages without being an administrator. 4) Adding only infoboxes, categories, making lists etc. isn't worth of becoming an administrator. Would someone on Wikizilla make you an administrator if you were doing only that? 5) As I said, actual written text is needed. If before this year ends Kaiju №14 will write some good, big, complete, not-plagiarized plot/production/other sections without obvious grammatical errors, I will think about making him an administrator again.

It sounds like you aren't doing enough on the site for his liking to really earn new ownership for the site, which (in my mind) is fair. Just going up to him and saying he needs to make you an admin without having done any actual work to add anything new is frankly silly, at best.

If you actually read the other thing you would know i vouched for Kaiju no 14 to be the owner due to him editing the most i dont care to be the admin kaiju no 14 on the otherhand cares more about it than allo yet allo refuses to give him admin powers out of what appears to be laziness or spite leaving him unable to fix the site

I need to get out and get some fresh air. I should go camping just this once. Ok, I am ready to go… ...Oh it’s such a beautiful place, except for the bugs. I hate bugs, the way they move or eat is just plain unnerving, but there are so many more bugs than normal out here. No...there aren't that many bugs you're just seeing stuff because of your fear. Oh... My fear you say? Well, buddy let's just see who is afraid now! I run as fast as I can to get away from all this guilt of what I have done over these years, but a sight makes me stop and back away a little. A corpse is piled with bugs and flies mostly and it's just so sickening that I just forget about it and move on. As I walk deeper into the forest I see more and more corpses as I walk to my destination. The deeper I go, the closer death gets. Finally, I see giant shadows moving about in the light and my destination calls me deeper and DEEPER!...silence...darkness..fear...regret...guilt...sadness...anger...hatred...I have arrived. The sight of it is like a deep gash in a beautiful forest. I see black, writhing, worm-like creatures and I start to change my mind about going in. But as I begin to walk away the stupidest thing I have ever done is done. I slipped...and fell...to my demise in the dark, writhing pit of doom...never to be seen again...

The coldness and mist hit me first, then he came...Dark like a scorched tree...a man of great age came to me and made a big grin that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. “Greetings!” he said in a deep voice. “What brings you here?” Oh finally! Somebody who I can trust. “I am from…” Where am I from? I can’t remember…” Help me escape and I will give you anything, just please help.”I think about it, but with no hesitation.” sure” I say as he walks in a direction of his interest, I follow him. We walk for a while when he suddenly stops. “Get back,” he whispers. We don’t see it, but we can hear it. It sounds heavy and breathes very hard. The smell of the creature is horrible and I needed to hold in my vomit or we would get caught. Its footsteps get farther and farther until there is silence. ”How did you get here anyway?” I whisper and he says that some bullies pushed him off on the surface. We see a white light get brighter as we get nearer and I need to squint my eyes to block the glare of the sun. Yes! Fresh air. He says that we should bunker down and tell me what he needs help with escaping. “There is a hivemind in these woods and I need somebody like you to defeat it.” “So, that creature is part of the hivemind?” “Yes, and I have a plan.” He shows me the way to his “base”. Weapons, food, water, and books are what I only find. ”And how long were you down here?” “Exactly 10 years, why?” “Nothing.” I start to suspect that he couldn’t have been here for 10 years and not turn insane, right?...The plan is that we get into the cave, while I distract the creature and lure it into our base he sets up the trap that looks pretty sick…I try to anger it by calling it names and that sure got it riled up! I realized that It was faster than me and luckily I got it out of his domain...It caught me and split open to reveal dozens of teeth and things sticking out of its inner body…Then it stopped and put me down, so that it would go back...I stand in shock and wonder as I look up and see the old man behind some kind of boulder and I snap out of it and yell to him”Wait don’t do-”...It’s too late and he pushes the boulder on the creature before it even had a chance to look up and gets compressed by the amount of weight that rock had...The old man gets down and has a look of pride, ”Look, we didn’t even need our weapons! Let's celebrate our victory! I have some Vodka in one of our cupboards.” I nod with unease and take a better look at the creature...I see the shape of it’s skull and is very similar to a human’s skull , But when “The Old Man” starts to walk away, the creature whispers surprisingly in english ,” If you stay here with him, I will become you like most of us are on the surface…” And with that, he breathes his last breath and dies. I back away, right into “Him” and stares at me with the knife and traces my look to his hand. His veins were pulsing black and I think back to before I came falling down...The creature and the corpses weren’t some random corpses…they were the BULLIES...just as I open my mouth he shoves the knife into my chest...I muffle a scream and kick his hand. I run into the abyss and hear him running too...I think I lost him...My chest hurts...I feel my soul drifting away...I hope it carries me to the surface where I will be free from this maniac...

Found some interesting movies in Internet: Spider-Man vs. Godzilla (it seems to be fake), Kaiju (yes, it is just titled Kaiju), Giant Monsters Attack Japan! and Sand Python Siege. How about the inclusion of the last one? I should say I haven't watched it, but as I know Wikizilla covers Chinese kaiju movies.

As best as I can tell, we don't have a single Chinese movie on this site, unless you count The Mighty Peking Man and the ones co-produced by Tencent. I peeked at the ending of Sand Python Siege on YouTube and it doesn't look like it's going to change that. The poster showing kaiju-sized snakes wrapped around skyscrapers as helicopters rain down missiles is deceptive.

I have a question. Why Wikizilla covers Cloverfield franchise? It has it's own wiki, and all movies in the franchise aren't made in the kaiju style. The first movie is made in the "found footage" style, not in the kaiju genre, the second and the third aren't even monster movies. I watched It Came from Beneath the Sea several days ago, and it follows the kaiju genre way more, than Cloverfield. I don't say we should cover It Came from Beneath the Sea or we should delete Cloverfield pages, but I just asked.

Because the Cloverfield movies are manageable. The Pacific Rim franchise, for instance, has dozens of giant characters in it, and the Ultra Series even more. That being said, our pages on the original Cloverfield still need some serious work.

Genre's a slippery thing. The site exclusively calls Japanese films "kaiju films" to avoid endless arguments over what is and isn't a kaiju. Personally, I would consider Cloverfield a kaiju movie even though it's American because of Clover's size, resilience, and unusual appearance. The way in which the story is presented is irrelevant. I'm less inclined to view American giant-animal movies the same way, and there are far too many of them for us to possibly cover.

As for the Cloverfield follow-ups, both have certainly have giant monsters in them, even if they're not the main attractions, and don't require a serious number of subpages.

I wish that the criteria for introducing new movies to this site weren't so convoluted, but I see only two other options, and I don't like either of them.

• We allow a page for every movie about monsters that are bigger than, say, a T-Rex, and our tiny staff never finishes them.
• We tighten the criteria and delete a whole bunch of pages.

Still, at this point we probably should make a special page for approved movies that don't have pages yet, as well as movies that have been rejected, with reasons laid out for each.

Okay, but why we cannot cover American giant monster movies with special effects by Ray Harrishausen and Willis O'Brien, if we still can have Monsters (2010) article, because it was directed by Gareth Edwards? I don't say we should cover all of them, only which follow kaiju genre. It Came from Beneath the Sea has way more kaiju atmosphere than Mega Shark movies.

As I remember this wiki was only about Godzilla at first, but was extended and include movies, which cannot have their own wikis. However, many movies can't be here. I like the first option, but the only one thing I can do is just propose some changes.

I've come around on The Lost World, and you might as well throw in The Black Scorpion too. If we're to give King Kong the same standing as Godzilla and Gamera on this site, then the other monsters animated by the man who first brought him to life should be covered. Harryhausen not so much - he made far more monster movies, and only two of them have any connection to the core characters this wiki is about.

As for It Came from Beneath the Sea and the Mega Shark movies, well, our definitions of "kaiju atmosphere" clearly differ. For what it's worth, I doubt I would have pushed for Mega Shark if the later entries didn't have giant robots in them. Mega Piranha also has kaiju-sized animals and I don't want that here... even though it would be fun to talk about the Nerf guns The Asylum used as props.

What kind of monster movies deserve to be covered?

Short answer: Godzilla movies, Gamera movies, King Kong movies, Toho monster movies, and movies with clear connections to them.
