We need to add in the events of “GvG” since “Godzilla vs Gigan Rex” is a sequel to it.

If I read correctly, GvG was submitted in a contest hosted by Toho, with the prize being a chance to create a sequel to the winning submission with Toho themselves. GvGR IS that sequel, so I say we have a little work to take care of regarding Gemstone Godzilla’s history section.

Kaiju1954 (talkcontribs)

To my understanding, the original G vs. G short is considered fan-made since it wasn't funded by Toho, so I don't think a history section from that film could be added.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

It's a tricky situation. I don't think a fan film should be included in a character's history section regardless of circumstances, but Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex is explicitly billed as a sequel to G vs. G in its video description. So I think G vs. G should be acknowledged in other ways on the page, like the introduction and a Development section.

please stop with the edit warring I'm asking for both of our sakes so we don't get in trouble with any of the staff, the creature the crabs go after is a baby individual

they never go after an adult and they specifically only targeted a baby, Mechagodzilla's page list Number 10 as his enemy and not skullcrawlers as a whole which is in reference to a specific individual and not the whole species, this is getting out of hand to argue over the specifics about this.

Kaiju1954 (talkcontribs)

Believe me, I'm just as tired of this whole back-and-forth as you are. But I just don't agree with the notion that it has to be specified just because it's not an adult. Why does it have to be an adult in order for the species as a whole to be listed? The baby is just as much a member as an adult would be.

I will admit that I should have taken this to a talk page, though I did try to back up my reasonings for each edit.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

i admit i probably should of gone here too as soon as the first revert happened.

Number 10 was listed as Mechagodzillas foe which is a specific and Minor skullcrawler and the whole species wasn't creditedm, i don't see why this cannot be the same here.

Kaiju1954 (talkcontribs)

Well, I think Number 10 is still a more notable example considering it was named and was a central part of a scene.

But I'm willing to just leave the article as it is.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

i appologize about this

Kaiju1954 (talkcontribs)

No worries, I apologize as well.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

you're gyaos image is simply just too small and far away from the monster, theres cases where when there is absolutely no good shots of a monster in its entirety we stick to the closest thing, its like this on the Greater Rathalos page as well

Kaiju1954 (talkcontribs)

I can understand you not liking it from an aesthetic point of view, but I do not see how it's too small or far when S-Gyaos itself covers the majority of the image.

I reiterate that I don't want to sound biased considering the circumstances, but your image doesn't show S-Gyaos' legs, most of its wings, or tail. It's still supposed to show as much of the design if able. And in this case, we're able to.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

Again i point to greater rathalos, the other shots was too wide or far away to be acceptable infobox images, and the image you have is far too small. as the image is only 634 × 318 and barely legible in the infobox

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Neither's ideal, and I'll scrub through the episode to see if there are any better frames, but if I have to choose, I'm going with a higher-resolution version of Kaiju1954's pick for giving a better view of the design. Rathalos should be reviewed too.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

i tried skimming through the MH movie with scenes with it, and there simply wasn't any Good shots of the rathalos, i don't own the movie nor have a blu ray player on my PC so i cant help much, i also thought Gamera Rebirth was stuck in crap resolution though?, it only streams on netflix in 720.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

nvm

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

I'll check, but I don't remember an issue like that when I was watching it.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

Where exactly does Aquatilis make those sounds you supposedly claim he makes i rewatched all scenes it was in and i didnt hear those specific noises

i only heard some generic growls that don't sound like that audio file

Kaiju1954 (talkcontribs)

Honestly, I'm not sure where he makes that specific roar, but I would imagine it would be difficult to hear due to its low pitch and the overlapping music. It was included in this video, where the roar seems to have been extracted from the anime itself. If I had to guess, I'd say it might be heard right as Godzilla Aquatilis dives back into the sea after leaping above the ships.

GodzillaFeistyPetFan1998 (talkcontribs)

While I was watching Episode 7 of the show and when Aquatilis bites Manda before he transforms, Everyone thought he sounded like King Kong or King Caesar but I know it was the Mandas cause when I saw the trailer for the show and when we get to the scene where Manda bites Godzilla Ultima, He sounded like King Caesar. This is the video I found from what I thought it was Godzilla Aquatilis who made the noise but didn't. https://youtu.be/watch?v=jobjKOoNoo8 from 1:41 to 1:43 Thank you for pointing that out.
