I have a question about the info showed in Godzilla: Save the Earth page.

In Action Mode section there is this info

If the player completes Action Mode on the hard difficulty with Godzilla 2000, a cutscene showing SpaceGodzilla's shoulder crystals shattering in the middle of a canyon will be played. The shattered remnants then temporarily coalesce into a miniature black hole that sucks SpaceGodzilla in immediately before the black hole fades out. Godzilla roars victoriously and the Vortaak flee the Earth.

So my question is... how do you know that the portal that sucked SpaceGodzilla is a black hole? There was any confirmation of any kind somewhere?

I just find it BS, Les. You literally have a page for Dragon Ball which has the same 'offense' as the 'split second cameos' of the movie (though a total of 14 minutes is dedicated to toho kaiju and aliens in the cultural festival), I find it unfair.

Honestly the Dragon Ball page could be absorbed into the pop culture page, too. The difference being that there are numerous Godzilla and Gamera references across the Dragon Ball franchise, while Urusei Yatsura 2 is a single movie which can just as easily be summarized under the list page and be done with. Nobody is ever going to write a summary for this movie or make pages for the staff and cast or make pages for the characters.

The monsters' appearances are cameos. Compiling such cameos is the entire point of Godzilla in popular culture's existence. An entire page for that movie, which is almost completely irrelevant to this website, is unnecessary. The other admins agree and our decision on this is final.

OK, that I can see, that point, the single movie thing. Sorry if came off sounding like I was throwing a temper tantrum. Maybe we could like, make the movie poster on the reference page and link the UY wiki? They have a complete list of the cameos and cast and active pages?

We aren't affiliated with the UY wiki, but I guess there's no harm in linking to them. Feel free to carry over the information to a section on that page.

It's to compile references and appearances of Godzilla in non-Godzilla related media. Like Godzilla being mentioned in Garfield, or him showing up on The Simpsons. There would be no point to putting licensed Godzilla comics on a page of non-licensed Godzilla appearances, especially when we have a page for Aftershock and every other official Godzilla comic or novel.

Hi, I noticed that you posted a comment in the old Wikia Godzilla wiki stating that somebody posted two clips from Assault! Human!! on YouTube. However, they have since been deleted and a new video of the show has surfaced (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPb0FFRmwik&list=WL&index=128&t=0s). Were the contents of the old videos similar to the new one, and if not, do you know how I can watch the old clips without purchasing the DVD you mentioned in the Wikia comment?

Yes, these are the same clips though in lower quality.

Were the older clips also dubbed over with the theme song?

No. The clips are taken from a documentary-type film about a place in Japan, so IIRC there was simply a narrator talking.

Hey Les, I saw that you listed Godzilla vs. Megalon as one of your favorite Godzilla films. It's one of mine too.

Jet Jaguar was the star of the movie , i don't want people to be like Godzilla!,Godzilla! all the time , this movie should be the box

vs. Megalon and Final Wars are definitely feel-good movies. I can put either one of them on and not be bored with them. As ridiculous as they are, I love them.

I'm pretty sure the reason is because it's not that important to be in trivia.

It is not "your page," first of all. We are entitled to make changes regardless of who published the page. Stating that 'this is the first time kaiju have appeared in this game' is obvious and does not need to be trivia. Most games Godzilla crosses over with are not inherently kaiju-related, but we don't put trivia on each of the pages stating it's the first time kaiju have appeared. We appreciate the contribution, but there's no reason to be so standoffish about improvements being made.

First at all ofcourse it belongs to the list of pages I've made in this wiki. But now I feel like if good people were creating pages for this wiki and then you take all the credit for it.

Second the trivia states that it was the first time a Kaiju appeared on SRW franchise, not just the videogame. But eh whatever........

That does not mean it belongs to you, nor that we are disallowed from editing it. How is removing a piece of trivia "tak[ing] all the credit for it"?

Something like Symphogear is a long-running franchise too, but it isn't inherently kaiju-related so stating a Godzilla crossover is the first time the franchise has featured kaiju should be fairly obvious. Magic: The Gathering is a massively popular franchise with countless expansions and they just recently had the first Godzilla crossover. Yet, we don't have trivia stating it's the first time kaiju have appeared because it's redundant and unnecessary. Arguing about this is pointless. I've told you my reasoning for why things were removed. Nobody is trying to steal glory away from you; no page belongs to any one person. This is a collaborative website where everyone is just as entitled to contribute as the next guy.
