What's the name of the episode where Godzilla and Ghidorah show up as enemies in a VR game?

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I am currently looking for that right now

Edit Warring

37
Summary by Keeri'ijra

Nelspeedracer and Zillaman98 were having a disagreement over whether or not the enemies/allies section as part of the story mode of GigaBash was applicable. The argument being that, even though it is a fighting game every kaiju could become friend or foe with every kaiju, the alliances and rivalries seen in the story mode should be added. I decided to step in give some semblance of an explanation as to why we do things the way we do, and that seemed to solve Nelspeedracer's view on why the story modes weren't taken into consideration.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)
Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

You started it by removing valuable infromation I got from playing the game. Information like that shouldn't be removed. I don't want a edit war but you keep removing the information I learned from playing the game so maybe it a chance and look up if's true before removing it.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

I did not start it You continued to revert my edits after i undid edits you done.

Theres a reason why monsters like krystalak for example do not have enemy or ally sections

And why Heisei Godzilla isnt listed as an enemy for MonsterVerse Godzilla regardless of that being in the godzilla ps4 games story mode

VaderRaptor (talkcontribs)

What's the problem here?

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I added new information from playing the GigaBash on the Sandbox for the game's original Kaiju but ZillaMan98 doesn't think it's true or real and keeps on deleting it. And that evenf of the storymode doesn't apply to the ally and enemy segment too. All was I adding was what I saw in the storymode and should be added in.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)
Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

But they fought in the storymode specifically only because it had a storyline while same can be applies to GigaBash since they fought in the storyline. I only applied which Kaiju who they fought or teamed up with in the storymode only.

Like Gorogong fought Pupijuras, Thundatross, Rohanna, Skorak, and Rawa in his story mode for example as it has a clear plot on who fought who. Or like Thundatross teamed up with Gigaman in Thundatross storymode. And here a playthrough of it I found online that proves it with the cutscenes: https://youtu.be/h0iW1eSVuxw, https://youtu.be/aFXwbf17Ae0

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

So Did Godzilla and MonsterVerse Godzilla in that respective games storymode which you seemingly ignored me pointing out that was still removed from the respective page

it feels like continue to ignore the fact due to the nature of the game being a fighting game theoretically any monster in the game can be enemies or allies

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

.

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

If there was no storymode then it wouldn't be applicable since it doesn't clearly say they specifically allied or fought in the storyline. It is a fighting game but in the storylime it clearly shows who fights who

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

i have literally said two (now three times) you tried to add Heisei Godzilla under MonsterVerse Godzillas Enemies because of that games storymode and it was removed from that page, yet you CONTINUE to seemingly willfully ignore this fact.

if listing Heisei Godzilla as MonsterVerse Godzillas enemy is not Applicable for That game then it shouldn't be Applicable to any of the Monsters in GigaBash because once again due to the nature of the game being a fighting game theoretically any monster in the game can be enemies or allies

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

If there was no storyline in the game storymode then I wouldn't have a reason to add them. You clearly ignore there is a storyline behind it. A storyline should be kept no ands its and/or buts here. A storymode is cannon and applicatabld while a online or locial multiplayer mode with no storymode is not applicatable.

Yes it is a fighting game but it has a storymode with a plot and storyline. I only listed who is allies and enemies viva it's storymode not the game's entirity. I read rules and nothing on it unless it changed since I last read it. A storymode is cannon while a multiplayer mode with no storymode is not.

I only listed allies and enemies under the storymode only. Not outside of it.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

fourth time repeating this..

even though the PS3/PS4 godzilla game has a storymode

You tried to list Heisei Godzilla as MonsterVerse Godzillas Enemy because of that games storymode but it was removed under the basis that theoretically he could fight any monster in the game

the same applies to GigaBash

due to the nature of the game being a fighting game theoretically any monster in the game can be enemies or allies

Kaiju No. 14 (talkcontribs)

@Nelspeedracer Why do you ignore Zillaman's efforts and explanation to prove your edits were unnecessary? You are making a valid point, but Zillaman knows what he's doing and I think it's a good idea to come to a conclusion before you get yourself into even more trouble with others over this.

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I am doing is going by what happened in the lore and storymodes nothing more nothinglless. Unless game storymodes are "NOT cannon" to a character's history here. Because what is codsidered cannon or not gives me a headache.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

you continue to entirely willingly ignore the point about what you tried to do with monsterverse godzilla that was apart of that games storymode yet it still wasn't allowed to be list heisei godzilla as his enemy so that shouldnt be applicable with GigaBash either WHY does this need to be repeated multiple

times.

im honestly not going to bother anymore because you continue to ignore explanations of why i undid the edits

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

How does it make sense when it happened in a offical storyline yet it isn't allowed here? It's like cannon but it's really not. GigaBash has no other media or storyline outside of it's lore and storymode. Might as well say the games are NOT cannon at all.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

astounding himself removed MonsterVerse Godzilla being Enemies with Heisei Godzilla

even though that was apart of the storymode it still didnt count

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

That happens outside of the game's storymode so it doesn't count and not cannon to the storyline. I would agree with that if there was no storyline in the storymode.

Gorogong offical fought Pipijuras offically in the storymode. But outside of it they can unoffically team up in the many multiplayer modes.

How you reject information and logic so simple. In Storymode or bios= Applicatable. Outside of storymode or bios NOT applicatable.

Or are story modes "NOT cannon" thing?

Keeri'ijra (talkcontribs)

Considering Godzilla on the Ps4 has been out since 2014 and still hasn't gotten that type of treatment, I would say no, it doesn't count. That may change in the future, but at the moment that's how it is.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

What does this even mean Keeri?

I explained it multiple times in the most bluntly put way possible in a way that anyone could understand using the ps4 godzilla games storymode as an example as to why listing a certain monster as an enemy didnt count (he tried listing Heisei Godzilla as MonsterVerse Godzillas enemy but that was undone) but this guy kept acting like he had no idea what i was saying.

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

This is much better of a explination. My bad. I think there should be a new rule on video games so this issue doesn't happen again as a suggestion here.

Keeri'ijra (talkcontribs)

Know that I do understand your logic, it does technically make since. However, what I stated in the reply above is the current "proper" way to do these things.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

If this game's Story Mode follows a predetermined path, this conflict could be resolved fairly easily by putting Story Mode: in front of the list of allies and enemies each GigaBash character has outside of multiplayer. There are broader problems with those fields that haven't been resolved, mostly for Toho monsters, but that should be good enough for the game's original characters. As for Godzilla: Unleashed, that sounds like a more complicated situation where your standing with the factions changes depending on the choices you make.

Regarding the precedent I set, I believe I misunderstood how the story modes in the PS3/PS4 Godzilla game work. If you can only play as the Heisei Godzilla in the Go Ashore campaign, and always fight the Legendary Godzilla at the end, then having them as enemies would be logical, even if it would require a similar caveat in the infobox. (I was under the impression that you could play as any monster in the Go Ashore campaign once you unlocked them, which would make those two Godzillas fighting unremarkable.) On the other hand, this game does not take place in the continuity of the Heisei Godzilla films, so should it count at all? There are even more confusing cases where Godzilla changes appearance throughout a continuity and sometimes looks like the Heisei Godzilla (the main IDW continuity, the Scott Ciencin books). It's a tangle for sure.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

wait so are the GigaBash Monsters allowed to have pages on the site?

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Video game rules need to be written down and voted on, but as long as there's going to be a massive argument about GigaBash monsters, I figured I'd weigh in. Pages for these fellows are up in the air because Godzilla and friends are DLC and not part of the base game, but my idea was that we could fully cover games that do Godzilla/Gamera/Kong collaborations if they're already about kaiju. We'll see how that goes (I haven't explored other potential implications of that rule yet).

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

i Honestly do not think Godzilla being DLC and not Base Game really factors in the whether the other monsters should be covered or not (technically a lot of his game collaborations are DLC anyways), GigaBash also lacks its own dedicated Wiki entirely.

And to add on to this we already have pages for the "Original" monsters that appeared in the Movie Monster Game which Godzilla is also featured incase you might had forgot about.

Mister Meringue

Sphectra

The Glog

Tarantus

and

Mechatron

last time i checked Les said the characters probably should get pages if Godzilla was playable.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Whatever rules we vote in might result in some pages getting deleted, same as last time. (But Godzilla isn't DLC or featured in a limited-time event in The Movie Monster Game, so I don't think that's entirely comparable.)

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

Personally i think if Godzilla (or any other core monsters featured on the site) is featured in specifically a Kaiju centric video game (Regardless if he or any other is DLC or apart of the base game) the other Monsters featured in the Game should be allowed to be covered.

id also argue DLC is more important factor than a Limited Time event due to it being a permanent thing.

Keeri'ijra (talkcontribs)

I would say that if a Kaiju-specific game features Godzilla/Gamera/Kong Kaiju, the full game should be covered. I would go with an obvious no to something like Call of Duty (pretty clear as to why), but GigaBash is a Kaiju game that features Kaiju we cover. Part of the reason I would advocate for it is that GigaBash, as far as I can tell, does not have a Wiki for itself. The game would not take up a whole ton of space on the site since it isn't hoards of monsters we would have to cover, and if it was it might be harder to argue its case. Not to mention the fact that we cover other original monsters from Kaiju games that aren't a Godzilla/Gamera/Kong game and feature characters from those franchises, such as Crush, Crumble and Chomp.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

Crush, Crumble and Chomp doesn't even have Godzilla in it, it might get deleted

also "Kaiju-specific day" what does that mean?

Keeri'ijra (talkcontribs)

The day thing was a typo. As for Crush, Crumble, and Chomp, an argument could be made that it deserves at least one page because of its relations with The Movie Monster Game, yet we have pages on all the monsters anyways. The argument for GigaBash being that it actually has Godzilla and others in it that are also playable, so why should they not be included as well?

VaderRaptor (talkcontribs)

I get what you mean with the Go Ashore mode, but does Invade count as a campaign of sorts since it follows the same format but with any monster (besides the benevolent ones)?

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

If the opponents you face aren't tailored to the monster you play as, I don't think it's significant.

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

EDIT nevermind

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I was trying to make it a sandbox so my apologies

Zillaman98 (talkcontribs)

Is that [redacted] in the first Godzilla vs Kong trailer

3
Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I saw in the very beginning of Godzilla vs Kong where an metal Godzilla like creature glowing red which is possibly Mechagodzilla emerging out of an volcanic eruption which is an throwback to the character’s introduction in his first film where Fake Godzilla comes out of an volcanic eruption. Is that Mechagodzilla confirmed and if so should we make an Monsteteverse Mechagodzilla page?

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

It's MG, but we don't have enough information to make a page on it yet.

The H-Man (talkcontribs)

Please, please, please don't put anything that could even remotely be considered a spoiler (whether true or not) in your topic titles. It just ruins the movie for the people that want to go in cold but who'd still like to use this site for other purposes.

Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I’m been wondering for whole if the “Jet Jeguar movie trailer” is real or not as it was released by Toho themselves or not? Someone clear me up on this?

Les (talkcontribs)

It is official from Toho, but look at the upload date. May 31, or April 1 in Japan; an April Fools joke.

Should Kaiju Girls Comic (Godzilla Kaiju Girls) have their own page or not?

5
Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

I been curious if Kaiju Girls (Not the anime with that name but the fan made comic with the same name that has Godzilla characters as humanoid females) is relevant to be made on Wilizilla I know that most fan made things aren’t made but some like the NES Creepypasta or Heritage made it on here so I’m wondering if Kaiju Girls should be put on or not? I’m curious on how is Heritage being shot down which is not intentionally making it for money and would have originally would have been free if Toho haven’t been overprotective while Kaiju Girls requires money to read it and hasn’t raised flags on Toho as it requires money to read it and not been touched at by Toho?

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Presumably no one's told them about it yet; it took years for them to crack down on Heritage.

In any case, Kaiju Girls is not getting a page on Wikizilla as long as I still draw breath.

SkullIslandExplorer (talkcontribs)

From what I researched, the Godzilla Kaiju Girls Comic is set to be an 18+ story. So I don’t think a fanmade NSFW webcomic has any place on an otherwise SFW website.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Also true. A few years ago, we decided we weren't going to cover adult kaiju films (of which there are a startling number) on a technicality: there was no SFW way to write the plot summaries.

SkullIslandExplorer (talkcontribs)

It’s probably best not to include those. Good thinking.

Why Zone Fighter didn’t help Godzilla against his fight with Mechagodzilla?

1
Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs)

After reading Zone Fighter page again. Since it was confirmed to take place in Showa Continuity? My biggest question is why the Zone Family didn’t have even bother help Godzilla against Mechagodzilla (And Titanosaurus too later on) since the chaos by Mechagodzilla would be more enough to get the Zone Family’s attention and would probably make them step in and help Godzilla defeat Mechagodzilla? Is there explanation by Toho or any official material?
