History

"Volume of: Moshu Moshu Transmission"

In a mountainous area, two Mothra larvae stand a short distance away from each other at either end of a pair of cups attached by string. When one speaks into the cup, the vibrations are carried along the line and heard from the other end, much to their amusement. The other larva then tests it, to much the same effect. Sometime later, the larvae stand on opposite ends of another pair of cup telephones, this time strung across a wide flat area. After a few more times of communicating to one another, one of the larvae speaks into the cup and races to the other end to hear its own message. They then both speak into it, and again race to the opposing end to hear the message. As they dance in celebration, they are startled by another voice being emitted from the cup and cower in fear. On the other side, it is revealed to be a larval Battra, who laughs at the Mothras' reactions. But, when he tries speaking again, there is no response and the Mothras have disappeared from the other end. Battra, saddened by their disappearance, begins to sob. However, he soon hears the calls of the larvae who appear next to him and cheer him up. United, the trio perform a dance in excitement and the episode ends.

"Volume of: Jet Jaguar Activates!!"

The episode picks up where the previous left off. As Godzilla continues to face off with Megalon, Dr. Roborobo orders Jet Jaguar to take action and proclaims to the onlooking reporters that the robot's sense of justice has been awakened. He grows to giant size, but freezes in place just as with last time. Puzzled, Godzilla looks into Jet Jaguar's eyes, only to see the message "Data downloading" displayed. Roborobo explains that he didn't preinstall Jet Jaguar's battle application, and after a brief moment, the robot reports that the download is complete, but freezes again. His eyes then display "Data installing," and he similarly reports that the data is installed, but freezes. His eyes finally display that he will shortly be rebooting, and shrinks back down to do so, leaving Godzilla and Megalon in shock.

In the episode's accompanying Old Man Hedo, Hedochi asks the Old Man why humans continue to love after they are hurt.
