"GHOSTBOOK: Ghost Book") is a 2022 Japanese fantasy film written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki based loosely on the Ghost Book picture book series written by Hiroshi Saito. It is funded by the "GHOSTBOOK" Film Partners (consisting of Toho, Kodansha, Shirogumi, ROBOT, Abe Shuji, Inc., Leviplus, and Co-LaVo) and produced by ROBOT. The film stars Kairi Jo, Fuga Shibazaki, Sonny McClendon, Ayaka Yoshimura, Ryunosuke Kamiki, and Yui Aragaki. Toho released it to Japanese theaters on July 22, 2022. |
