Zhang Ziyi is a Chinese actress and model. Renowned in both China and Hollywood, her most well-known films include Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), House of Flying Daggers (2004), Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), and The Grandmaster. In 2018, she starred in The Cloverfield Paradox, her first English-language film in nine years. In 2019, she appeared in the MonsterVerse film Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Monarch mythographer Dr. Ilene Chen and will reprise the role in Godzilla vs. Kong.
