Zhang Ziyi (章子怡 Zhāng Ziyi) is a Chinese actress and model. Renowned in both China and Hollywood, her most well-known films include Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, House of Flying Daggers, Memoirs of a Geisha, and The Grandmaster. In 2018, she starred in The Cloverfield Paradox, her first English-language film in nine years. In 2019, she appeared in the MonsterVerse film Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Monarch mythographer Dr. Ilene Chen and will reprise the role in Godzilla vs. Kong in 2020.
