Kyupatto is a strange kaiju which shares traits of insects, birds, and cephalopods. Its skin is a dark blue or gray coloration, with pale red-centered suction cups and a large absorptive patch. Its head is adorned with darker red ridges on its forehead, an orange-red beak similar to a bird or squid, and large, silver, wing-like appendages which protrude from underneath its large oval-shaped eyes and extend off of its head. The monster also possesses large silver wings which appear similar to that of a fly or other insect. However, these wings are purely aesthetic and do not enable flight.
Kyupatto was the forty-forth monster to battle Greenman. It was deployed near a group of four small children who are playing with a bow that shoots suction cup-tipped arrows. One of the arrows hit in to an invisible object and falls to the ground. Kyupatto then suddenly becomes visible and chases the children. One of them activate a Green Call which signals Greenman to the scene. Kyupatto and Greenman have a short battle before Kyupatto collapses to the ground and loses consciousness. At the command of Maoh, Tonchiki revives the monster and casts a spell on it to rapidly increase in height. Greenman also alters his size, utilizing his machinery, and they resume battle in a small town. After another exchange of attacks, Greenman attempts to kill Kyupatto using his Breaster attack. However, Kyupatto absorbs the missiles using the patch on his chest. Greenman attempts once more to destroy the creature, this time using the Flash Shock attack but it is similarly ineffective. Kyupatto is then able to gain the upper hand in the battle and Greenman sustains critical damage. The children use the Green Call once more to repair Greenman and give him a boost of strength. Returned to full working order, Greenman is able to knock the patch off of Kyupatto's chest with a swift kick and ultimately destroys him using his Mouth Beam.
Kyupatto has a round patch on his chest which can absorb any object. It was first displayed in the Underworld when it absorbed a lizard which had been sitting on Maoh's birthday cake. It was then later used to absorb Greenman's Breaster missiles and Flash Shock.
