Trivia

• This group shares similarities with the Red Bamboo
  • Both groups use nuclear weapons to threaten the world
  • Both involve Godzilla destroying their island bases
  • However the Red Bamboo has a kaiju in the form of Ebirah while COBRA doesn't have an kaiju of their own and must rely on it’s weaponary to fight off Godzilla
• It predates the more famous COBRA from G.I Joe by 3 years. In addition it shares similarities with more famous G.I Joe COBRA
  • Both have a cobra as their insignia.
  • They both have leaders who wear a helmet with a visor. General Zadar's helmet has the brigadier general insignia while wearing a transparent green eyeshield. Cobra Commander's helmet sometimes has the Cobra insignia on it and has a silver face shield that completely obscures his face.
  • Both have high ranking female officers with black hair (Colonel Varna and Baroness respectively).
  • Both have troops whose uniforms are blue.
