This movie didn't just revealed at the post-credits scene the next Godzilla film. Thanks to a unknown user, he took a screenshot of a very familiar creature at the opening credits. Is this a teaser or just a easter egg?

Perhaps it's Skeleturtle.

Skeleturtle is a skeleton of a turtle.
The image seemingly shows a skeleton of a turtle.

Therefore it can be Skeleturtle.

Skeleturtle is a skeleton of a Sea turtle the one in the picture is just an anatomy of a tortoise.

If Legendary had the rights to Gamera, they wouldn't announce it via a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot in KSI's opening credits.

It's more likely an homage to Kamoebas from Space Amoeba.

Or it's just a regular anatomy of a tortoise with no connection to Gamera or Kamoebas at all.

This looks more like an homage to the early days of Infant Island than a Gamera easter egg.
