As much as we (presumably) all enjoyed KOTM, let's face it: Emma's explanation that it's the Titans' radiation that heals the environment feels kinda...well, weak. Especially when you take into account all the prehistoric plants cropping up, and all those species coming off of the endangered list. Chalking it up to just radiation just doesn't cut it in this day and age.

So here's my personal theory on how this works: as the Titans absorb "harmful" radiation, they emit a "healthier" form as a byproduct, which encourages biological and botanical growth, causing accelerated floral development and making conditions more favorable for indigenous animal populations. In addition, their global reach makes them ideal for carrying seeds, spores, and nutrients across the world. Furthermore, several of the Titans took the seeds of prehistoric flora with them when they went into hibernation, which have now begun to take a foothold in modern ecosystems.

What say all of you?

That’s actually a good point.. The Titan’s have to have some kind of “special” radiation different from the regular kind. Maybe Walt made it. I smell a el Camino spin-off Series!

In all seriousness that has to be the only way cause real radiation is as deadly as a pool of acid.

Thanks.

Somebody ought to run this by Michael Dougherty. He seems pretty willing to answer questions regarding KOTM. I couldn't do it, though. No Twitter account, and I'm not sure if I want to go through all that trouble for the sake of one question.

Hey, if you do end up bringing it up with him, just make sure to give credit to where it came from.
