This thread's for anyone who wish to express their theories on the cliffhanger of Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.

Just to recap, this post-credits scene shows a tank containing DNA from either the original '54 Godzilla or the new Godzilla that attacked in '99, 2003 & 2004. It also shows that the extraction date of such was either 11th March 1999 or 3rd November 1999. As the tank closed and sealed, an announcer said that a "bio-formation experiment" will begin.

What do you think this means? Were they planning on making a new Kiryu? Or maybe it took place durng the start of the first Kiryu's construction back in '99, bookending the Saga? Please feel free to leave some thoughts, ideas, opinions, and theories in the comments down below. Thank you.

I have to rewatch this movie as I haven't seen it in many years to be able to properly reply. But, something tangentially related and very interesting is the idea of there being other mechs being made based on other kaiju like Kamoebas. This is sort of an official 'what if' scenario if the Kiryu Saga continued, just one idea that could be done with it. It would've been really cool.

I heard about that, do you think Godzilla would've returned somehow or there would've been bigger threats?
