Do you have any monster movies you'd like to see crossovers of with other franchises (including with TV shows and video games if you'd like)? Here's a few I'd like to see:

Godzilla vs. Gamera: I don't think this needs much information as this is one of the most popular future match-ups that fans would like to see.

Godzilla vs. Pacific Rim: Another popular choice by many. Seeing Godzilla joining forces with the Jaegars to take on various alien monsters would be pretty impressive.

Gamera vs. Daimajin: This one was apparently one of the potential ideas for Gamera's second movie before eventually been replaced with Gamera vs. Barugon. I think it would be interesting to see how Gamera would deal with such an opponent, as well as seeing Daimajin closer to a modern-day environment.

Godzilla vs. Zone Fighter: A movie version of Zone Fighter - showing his family's arrival on Earth after escaping the destruction of their home-world by the evil Garoga aliens, the family trying to adapt to their new home, Zone Fighter's initial appearances fighting other monsters - most notably Godzilla - before joining forces with the Monster King to battle the Garoga's army of monsters and gaining the trust and respect of Godzilla in the process. If done right, I think it would be pretty good and you could maybe put in some of the lesser used monsters such as Dogora and the Space Amoeba monsters. :)

Yonggary vs. Pulgasari: One monster from North Korea and the other from South Korea duking it out before later uniting to battle a more dangerous foe.

Godzilla vs. The Avengers: A possible future addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Godzilla has appeared in Marvel Comics in the past. Godzilla would battle S.H.I.E.L.D, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and other assorted heroes before later becoming their ally against new enemy Doctor Demonicus and his army of genetically engineered monstrosities.

Gorgo vs. The Grabbers: A sequel to both Gorgo (1961) and Grabbers (2012) - with Gorgo, now bigger and more independent as well as having new abilities differing from his mother, been 'summoned' to Dublin in Ireland to deal with a larger invasion of the Grabber aliens that previously attacked the Aran Islands.

How about Godzilla Meets Ultraman? That would be pretty sick. Also of course, Godzilla and Ultraman would not be playing soccer together in this movie.

Here's my idea for a Godzilla/Gamera crossover: Full title: Godzilla X Gamera X Gyaos: Great Giant Monster Wars

Story (work in progress): Set 3 years after GMK and six years after Gamera 3 After Gamera seemingly ridded the world of the Gyaos at the cliffhanger of Gamera 3, a lone specimen escapes & flees to an unknown island, to grow and evolve into something far stronger than before. Japan's peace after Godzilla's seemingly defeat is short-lived however, as Barugon and Jiger emerge and attack Odaiba.

Gamera, Varan and Anguirus eventually awaken in response to this new attack. Zilla Junior arrives just then, having travelled from New York City through Mexico to Japan to help Gamera battle against Barugon and Jiger. Baragon and Mothra are reborn, but while Ghidorah regenerates, a colony of microscopic Precambrian crustaceans enter his body and eventually take control of such.

Godzilla returns at last, this time, he's possessed by a different single familiar spirit, one that would be revealed later on. At first, when Godzilla and Gamera meet for the first time, they mistake each other for a threat and eventually fight. Viras, Guiron and Zigra appear, but Varan, Anguirus, Baragon and Mothra then engage in.

When Ghidorah finally returns, he's no longer the Guardian Monster he once was, as he suddenly reek even more havoc than even Gyaos and Godzilla ever did before, and is somehow absorbing all nearby oxygen. The last Gyaos from before reappears, in a form more powerful than Super or Hyper Gyaos, a form known as Ultra Gyaos.

Afterwards, Godzilla and Gamera soon choose to set their differences aside and team up, not only with each other but also with the other Guardians, to battle against the real threats. The final battle takes place in Shikoku, between Godzilla, Gamera, Varan, Anguirus, Baragon, Mothra, and Zilla Junior, against Possessed Ghidorah, Barugon, Ultra Gyaos, Viras, Guiron, Jiger, and Zigra.

Jiger's the first to be defeated, as Mothra distracts and blinds it, Anguirus would crush and impale Jiger in his "spike ball form". Next to be defeated is Barugon, as he nearly strangles and freezes Baragon with his tongue. Zilla Junior would cut the tongue in half, as Varan would stab the giant reptile in the head.

Guiron gets his blade stuck in the cliff before ending up decapitated by Gamera's atomic fire breath. Viras and Zigra both end up getting blazed alive by Zilla Junior's power breath. At last, Godzilla slays Ultra Gyaos by firing his atomic breath into the giant bat's mouth a la Gareth Edwards 2014 reboot.

Godzilla, Gamera and Zilla Junior unite their breaths of fire at the still possessed Ghidorah and eventually destroy him, or so they think. As Ghidorah's flesh gets peeled and burnt away, the crustaceans fuse together to take on a new form, Destoroyah...

Destoroyah finally reveal his intent on absorbing all the oxygen left on Earth to survive and become even more stronger. As he already became too powerful even for all seven Guardians, Godzilla and Gamera decide to sacrifice themselves to defeat him, by combining their spirits and imploding their bodies. They succeed, as Destoroyah ends up turning into a statue of solid oxygen that evenutally crumbles and disintregrates, restoring the air to Earth.

In a surprise twist, not only does Gamera's spirit still live on, but also the spirit that brought Godzilla back this time, revealed to be Dr. Serizawa, who turnt out to be intent on destroying what he unintentionally created (Destoroyah) with his Oxygen Destroyer. Because he did just that at last in the form of the monster he once killed with that very same device (ironic), his soul's finally at rest as he ascends to Heaven at last.

In the end, the victorious surving Kaiju; Varan, Anguirus, Baragon, Mothra and Zilla Junior bid farewell to the saluting humans as they travel to the ocean and the horizon. And just when we think that Godzilla and Gamera are really gone for good, two large different eggs wash ashore. Hinting that maybe, just maybe, they'll return...

That's my story so far. What do you think of such?

I've recently thought up other ideas for crossovers:

Kong vs. Smaug - More or less a "Death Battle-esque" kind of scenario.

Godzilla vs. Disney Villains - Basically, Disney villains are set loose into the Tohoverse, but then Godzilla comes in to fight them all.

Godzilla vs. Astro Boy - I think the title speaks for itself.

Godzilla and Nadia: Battle of the Guardians - A crossover with the Gainax anime series Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water.

Gamera vs. Kamacuras - Set after Gamera III: The Revenge of Iris & GMK and before Godzilla X Gamera, Gamera faces off against the Kamacuras.

Giant Digital Pocket Monsters All-Out Attack - A crossover of Godzilla, Gamera, Pokemon & Digimon. Enough said.

Reptilicus x Giant Claw x The Blob x Rhedosaurus The battle of the lesser known kaiju.
Yonggary and Zilla vs. Cyokor The battle of shit CGI.
Mega Shark vs. Godzilla Mega Shark vs. Godzilla would be awesome.

Basically interchange any number of these words in a vs: Godzilla, Pacific Rim, Evangelion, Gamera, Ultraman, Gundam.

@Godzilla vs Gipsy Danger Not an Evangelion or Gundam fan myself, so I would replace with King Kong and Power Rangers if it was my choice

Fanfic author Kenya Starflight once namedropped a Godzilla fan-film in a (later cut) chapter of her Star Wars fic Eye of the Storm. The film's title: Godzilla Vs. the Acklay.

Also solo films in which Erika Shiragami is resurrected with the ability to transform into Biollante and battles a series of new and old monsters.

Until next time... Anon e Mouse Jr.
