I have made sure the picture is jpeg, png, or gif format. I have also ensured that the picture is less than 100kb in size. Any picture I have chosen to use as an avatar has come up with this message.

I have seen a couple of people that have had similar error messages and although I haven't gone and checked if this error message is the same as theirs I am curious as to why this happens and if there is any fix for it.

I noticed that users DEFINITELY have been able to update avatars(And upload them)so this may be a glitch or something.

Yeah I tried again today and it still happened. not sure why.

| Please try uploading the image as a regular file through Special:Upload. Make sure your e-mail is confirmed.

| Well. Now I'm getting hit with "You do not have permission to create new pages." I'm not sure why. I have my email confirmed for sure.

| Now it said that I need to confirm my email but I did multiple times.
