On January 12, 2018 Deadline reported a television series adaption of the film for UK's Channel 4 was in the works with Ronan Bennett as the showrunner with Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith at the helm of writing; however, nothing since this initial report has ever materialized.[1]
