History
Heisei Series
Godzilla vs. Biollante
Several AH-1s were deployed by the JGSDF to Wakasa Bay after Godzilla was infected by the Anti Nuclear Energy Bacteria, as part of the plan to incapacitate Godzilla with it. They fired on him using their mounted machine guns and missiles, and were backed up by a force of Mitsubishi F-15Js in an attempt to keep him within range of the M6000 T.C. System. However, none of their weaponry seemed to faze the kaiju, who proceeded to march towards a nuclear power plant. The military then had to make a hasty retreat as Biollante reappeared from space in her new form.
Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla
As Godzilla swam through Kagoshima Bay, a group of G-Force AH-1s were mobilized, and fired on Godzilla using their rockets and machine guns. The fleet of helicopters were backed up by the appearance of several Hatsuyuki-class destroyers and one Haruna-class destroyer. Godzilla ignored the helicopters and blasted the Haruna-class with his atomic breath, destroying it, before continuing to travel towards Fukuoka.

Shin Godzilla
Numerous JSDF and USAF-operated AH-1 Cobras and AH-1 SuperCobras were used to fight Godzilla after he came ashore in Tokyo. The machine guns and rockets fired by the helicopters seemed to have no effect on him.
