History

Kong Reborn

Roxanne was a young multilingual Black woman who was an expert animal psychologist and genetic engineer who taught at Stanford University, where she had been a track-and-field star, after graduating in 1996. Blaine had a history as an experienced field biologist and could fly many types of aircraft. Roxanne had been working at the Zöologischgarten in Basel, Switzerland for three years when she was hired on by Charlton Hemming in order to clone King Kong at his company Bionimals. However, Hemming's battered blood sample contained less than 70% of Kong's genome in usable DNA, and as such all attempts at cloning Kong were met with rejected cells and likely congenital birth defects. After years of work, in March of 2006, Hemming called to terminate the project, as Jack Denham, a rival CEO, had just succeeded in cloning the beast, and they prepared to sue him.
