Godzilla: 70th Anniversary is a one-shot anthology comic book from IDW Publishing. Featuring nine original stories from various creative teams, it was released on May 15, 2024.[2]
A deluxe hardcover edition, which includes a reprint of Godzilla: Best of Godzilla, will be released on October 22, 2024.[3]

Trivia
- The 1:25 retailer incentive cover by Tom Whalen features every monster from all five of the Godzilla films released in the 1970s, excluding stock footage appearances.
- The issue was originally set for release on May 8,[1] before being delayed to May 15.
- The reporter in "Contagion," Martin Short, works for United World News, the same agency that employed Steve Martin in Godzilla, King of the Monsters! Like Martin, Short shares a name with a comedic actor.
- On the television Takao is watching in the beginning of "In the Darkness", a butterfly with the pattern of Mothra can be seen.
