Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters is a comic book series by IDW Publishing, published from March 2011 to February 2012. The story sees Godzilla emerging for the first time in modern Japan, followed shortly by other monsters in all corners of the world. Civil society crumbles as a pair of evil psychic twins seek to control as many monsters as possible, and an erratically-behaving Mechagodzilla becomes humanity's last hope.

Following the conclusion of the series, Powell wrote a blog post explaining the darker direction he and Marsh originally wanted to take, which Toho disapproved of, as well as their plans for a number of unresolved plot points.[1] The comic was followed by two sequels; Godzilla, published from 2012 to 2013, and Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, published from 2013 to 2015. IDW released a trade paperback containing the entire series on July 2, 2019.[2] It will be reprinted again in April 2024 in Godzilla Library Collection, Vol. 2.
