Frankenstein vs. Baragon
In the closing days of World War II in Europe, Hitler's Nazis seized the immortal heart of Frankenstein's monster from the laboratory of Dr. Liesendorf and began transporting it to the Pacific Ocean aboard a U-boat. The heart was transferred to the Imperial Japanese Navy just before the U-boat was destroyed by the American Navy, and taken to a military hospital in Hiroshima. There, scientists began to study the heart and its incredible capacity for survival. However, on August 6, 1945, the U.S. dropped the atomic bomb "Little Boy" onto the city, destroying the hospital and causing the heart to be lost.
Fifteen years later, Dr. James Bowen and his colleague Sueko Togami discovered a feral boy wandering the streets of Hiroshima. They brought the boy into their laboratory and began to study him, and discovered that he had regenerated from the heart of Frankenstein, which was directly exposed to the detonation of the atomic bomb. While in captivity, Frankenstein began growing rapidly to gigantic size and escaped the laboratory before fleeing Hiroshima.
Heisei era
Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
