"In Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Godzilla went through physical changes including more spiky appearance in general most notably the spikes on elbows, somewhat resembling physical changes of Gamera in the Heisei Trilogy; Gamera's Elbow Claws were permanently exposed since Gamera 2: Attack of Legion, and Gamera continuously gained more intimidating appearances as the films progressed."
