toho has already shown interest in making more g films of there own, in that case, what would you like to see come from them?
i would certainly love a shin 2, the plot would go as the piece of flesh the millitary bombed of godzilla grows. but instead into another godzilla, it grows into a new monster, with wings . shin rodan vs shin godzilla?
tough i also would like more original g films, i won't lie, i kinda want the original godzilla return, as much as a like shin and godzilla earth.
what would you like to see?

I think Shin Godzilla stands better on its own as a standalone movie, but if it were to have a sequel, I'd love to see it take a completely different turn and focus on the creepy Godzilla humanoid things that grew from his tail at the end. Really though, I don't know what I want. I think I'd just be happy if we got Godzilla films with original plots and new monsters that don't rely on any pre-existing one.
Also a movie with Mothra because she has to be shoehorned into every era.

| There will be a new era of Godzilla films after 2020, but it is like that of Marvel's cinematic universe. So, I expect that some very iconic kaiju going to have their standalone films like with Venom that was released this year.
Plus not to mention crossovers, like with Avengers movies.

| I think they need to leave Godzilla alone for a bit. That Shin Rodan idea might work, but it also sounds REALLY easy to screw up. Maybe if they made an original monster for Shin to fight. Still, I wanna see a new Gamera movie. That trailer from 2016 or so got me hyped and I'm disappointed nothing came out of it.
