Topic on User talk:Les

Here are a few suggestions for films we could possibly cover.

1. Shin Kamen Rider: It's part of the Shin series, things that we already cover on the site have had collaborations with the film. (i.e. Godzilla Battle Line, the Movie Monster Series etc) And as far as I know we are not affiliated with the Kamen Rider wiki, So maybe we could possibly cover it?
2. Firebreather: It was one of the first instances of American media calling its monsters "kaiju", but beyond that I can't really think of any other reasons because I have not yet seen the film.
3. Rumble: It also called its monsters kaiju at one point and even mentioned Tokyo. (a primary location in Kaiju Eiga) The whole movie is literally about giant monster fights, kind of a dead ringer that it's inspired by kaiju films.

I will let you know if I find any other films that we could cover.

I would recommend checking Wikizilla:Scope for the qualifications for movies. I do not believe we are treating the Shin series as a direct relation, or else we'd also be covering Evangelion 3.0+1.0. It could qualify if Anno or Katsuro Onoue work on another Godzilla movie, but it doesn't at the moment.

If what you described of the other two is the extent, then they don't sound to be related enough either.

I will do more research on the other two, but as for Kamen Rider, yeah that sounds about right, maybe if we get that Shin Godzilla sequel that everyone's been clamoring for for almost eight years now.
