Yusuke Ishida (石田 雄介,   Ishida Yūsuke) is a Japanese director, film editor, and screenwriter. He was nominated for a Japanese Academy Award for Best Film Editing for his work on the 2011 film Moteki.[2] Ishida led the third unit ("C unit") on Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi's Shin Godzilla (2016), directing alternate angles of the film's events, including iPhone footage from Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line evacuees.[3] He also edited Higuchi's 2015 films Attack on Titan the Movie: Part 1 and Part 2, and directed footage of Godzilla for two 2017 and 2018 attractions.
