History

Tokyo S.O.S.: Godzilla's Suicide Strategy

Chamelegon was first encountered by Godzilla in the Japanese Alps, as the robot flies invisibly over the Japanese Alps while an irritated Godzilla watches and points at the skies.

After Gigan descends from space and demonstrated new hurricane-generating powers to ravage Japan into submission, only to be defeated by Godzilla; the Titan aliens send the fully mechanical monster to sow conflict between Godzilla and humanity.

After Godzilla drives Gigan away from the Alps, the invisible robot lures Godzilla to a nearby city, conspiring to make it it look like Godzilla is attacking the city as they fight.

The military drives off Godzilla by blinding him with a chemical dye, sending the monster king fleeing into the Alps.

Chamelegon and Gigan then attack relief efforts trying to bring food into the country,

When Japan still refused to surrender to the Titan aliens, the two space monsters began their march on Tokyo, only for Godzilla to burrow out of the Earth before them after having spent his time learning how to navigate without eyesight. Godzilla then proceeds to defeat the robot and cyborg, ending the Titan aliens' plans of conquest.
