|} The E231 series (E231系 E231-kei) is an electric multiple unit (EMU) train type used for commuter and outer-suburban services operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) in Japan since 2000, it appears in the 2016 Toho film Godzilla: Resurgence.
Overview
Even used for commuter rail in real-life, the trains are equipped with detonators, where multiple E231 series trains begins heading towards Godzilla similar to a long missile, which explodes on Godzilla's foot and causing him to collapse. which proves the train's durability against Godzilla.
