The E231 series (E231系 E231-kei) is an electric multiple unit (EMU) train type used for commuter and outer-suburban services operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) in Japan since 2000, it appears in the 2016 Toho film Godzilla: Resurgence.
Overview
Even used for commuter rail in real-life, the trains are equipped with detonators, where multiple E231 series trains begins heading towards Godzilla similar to a long missile, which explodes on Godzilla's foot and causing him to collapse. which proves the train's durability against Godzilla.

Godzilla emerges after being hit by multiple buildings that collapsed on him, As a result multiple E231 series trains are sent heading towards Godzilla, which explodes in his foot and causing him to collapse.
